Elevate Fundraising LLC
Last Updated: June 25, 2026
1. Program Description
Elevate Fundraising LLC sends text messages across two categories:
Transactional Messages — Sent to any donor who provides a phone number during the donation process. These messages are directly related to your donation and require no additional opt-in. They include:
Donation confirmations and receipts
Thank-you messages from the student or school
Final campaign results and impact updates
Campaign Update Messages — Sent only to individuals who have actively opted in. These messages include:
Live fundraising progress and milestone alerts
Daily challenge announcements and leaderboard updates
Prize and incentive notifications
Reminders and encouragement during the active campaign period
2. How to Opt In
There are two ways to opt in to Campaign Update Messages:
At Checkout: During the donation process, check the SMS consent box before completing your donation. The box will never be pre-checked. By checking it, you agree to receive campaign update texts for the duration of the active fundraising campaign.
Keyword Opt-In: Text the keyword ELEVATE to [your number/short code] at any time. This is the opt-in — no form required. You will receive a confirmation text and campaign updates will begin immediately.
Opting in confirms that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided.
3. Message Frequency
Transactional Messages: Typically 1–2 messages per donation (confirmation and thank-you). You may receive one additional message at the close of the campaign with final results.
Campaign Update Messages (opted-in only): Up to 2–3 messages per day during an active two-week fundraising campaign. Outside of an active campaign, messages are limited to important program announcements only.
4. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by your mobile carrier and are not controlled by Elevate Fundraising LLC. Contact your carrier for details regarding your messaging plan.
5. How to Opt Out
To stop Campaign Update Messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final confirmation and no further campaign update messages will be sent.
Transactional messages are sent as a direct result of your donation transaction and are not subject to marketing opt-out. If you have questions about a specific transactional message you received, contact us at info@elevate-fundraising.org.
To opt back in to campaign updates at any time, text START to the same number or re-enroll through our website.
